Coltur Vilcabamba 2013 Expedition

COLTUR Peru is participating in a 3 week expedition to explore a remote area in the southern Andes which is believed to have some important Inca remains.
Expedition is led by Peter Frost, writer, photographer and independent scholar who has explored the Andes and Amazon for 41 years, and lived in Peru since 1987.
In 2001 and 2002 he organized and led National Geographic Society-sponsored expeditions into the remote region of Vilcabamba, locating and investigating the previously unknown Inca and pre-Inca site of Qoriwayrachina (National Geographic Magazine, February, 2004).

Enrique Velasco will be joining this expedition (which starts on Monday, June 17th) and will be posting news in a BLOG specially designed to follow the expedition.
